Scouts are dedicated to helping their communities. February marks the beginning of a BIG community month for our scouts. February 3rd each den will be assigned an area within a neighborhood for bag drop off. Hopefully neighbors will participate to offer canned foods for families in need. February 6th, in the morning, scouts will go back to the places they dropped off bags and retrieve them full of food for donations.
Scout Sunday, February 14th, is one of the days all United Methodists Churches help celebrate youth through scouting. We will send out information for arrival time and structured scouting events based on the HUMC's wishes.

PINEWOOD Derby Events
Drivers....register your cars!!! In the evening of Friday, March 12th, scouts will bring their cars for check-in and registration in anticipation of the Derby Saturday morning!!
Drivers start your engines and off to the races for our most anticipated, exciting event of the year...THE PINEWOOD DERBY!!! Oh can't wait.
Blue and Gold Banquet and
Arrow of Light Crossover Ceremony
This event is a celebration like no other. We have decided to combine events, and celebrate the two fantastic events together. Scouts earn rank, celebrate the "birthday of scouting" and older scouts cross over to the Troop to become leaders...all in one glorious evening. Looking forward to recognizing everyone's hard work and achievements.
