Welcome To Cub Scouts with Pack 222

NOW WELCOMING GIRLS AND BOYS, GRADES k-5.

Cub Scouting is fun! From the anticipation of shooting an arrow or transforming a block of wood into a race car, Cub Scouts is one thrill after another. Scouting is a program expertly tailored to compliment each age in a child's life.  Everything has a purpose in scouting. It teaches scouts that doing their best can be the most fun of all. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote leadership and citizenship, character development, and fitness.  Through interaction between parents, leaders, and friends, boys and girls learn compassion, courage, teamwork and respect.

Our Meetings and Activities

Cub Scouting is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young scouts and their families.  During the school year, our dens meet Wednesday nights, from 6:45PM-7:45PM, at Huntersville United Methodist Church in Huntersville. There is typically one monthly Pack meeting, sometimes in-place of the den meetings or during a Pack outing.  Many Pack meetings are even incorporated into other events so that we can recognize scouts' achievements right away.

We also enjoy camping trips, hiking and other outdoor events on the weekends all year!  We work hard to create a fun and exciting program for the entire family!  Time dedicated to scouting is time invested in family relationships.  Pack 222 keeps the "outing" in scouting.

Join Us

Joining is easy during any month of the year.

Becoming a Pack 222 scout is as easy as 1-2-3.

  1. Reach out to our New Member Coordinator: Heather Brady, 4hebrady@gmail.com (704) 915-1800

  2. Register: You can click on the youth and adult applications buttons or print from the attached PDFs.  Fill them out and bring them to your den's next meeting.  Heather will inform you when and where your next meeting is based on your child's age.

  3. Pay your annual dues: either by personal check or the Pay Your Dues link provided.  Uniform and new member frequently asked questions are in the RESOURCES tab.  The Cubmaster, Scott, or Heather will be happy to chat as primary resources.
